Profile & Background

Paul M. King is the sole practitioner of the Law Office of Paul M. King, P.C.. Since forming the firm in 2002, Paul’s practice has been focused on provided affordable, dedicated legal representation to clients throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine.

Paul was sworn in as an attorney in Massachusetts in December, 2002. Since that time he has been admitted to the New Hampshire Bar and the Maine Bar, and has dedicated his practice to primarily four areas: personal injury law, criminal defense, divorce and family law, and condominium law.

In his personal injury practice, Paul has provided successful representation to those injured in truck accidents, automobile accidents, dog bites, slip and fall injury, and workplace injuries. He also represents the families who have lost a loved one in a wrongful death.

Paul’s criminal defense practice consists of successfully defending hundreds of individuals charged with various crimes, ranging from simple shoplifting to distribution of illegal drugs. A significant portion of his criminal defense practice consists of representing clients charged with drunk driving and OUI.

Paul’s divorce and family law practice consists of compassionately helping clients in matters involving divorce, including child support issues, complex child custody issues, and alimony. He also provides services to those seeking legal documents including wills, durable power of attorney and health proxy.

His condominium practice consists of representing condominium associations in the collection of past due fees and resolving general disputes between owners, as well as reviewing condominium documents.

In addition to practicing law, Attorney King is and has been an adjunct professor at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, teaching law related courses including Corporate and Property Law, Introduction to Paralegal Studies, and Legal Issues in Racism.
